Dress: Plexi Glass

Mask: Flowers made from Recycles Spoons 

This dress was inspired by the way in which people blindly buy and promote brands. The idea behind this was that there are some people who will but the most ostentatious items of clothing just to show off the brand that they are wearing. They would rather showcase their wealth rather than be well dressed. This idea indicated this in a way in which other people can see through their insecurities while they are blind to see that people can see through their veil of superiority. Through the project I wanted to showcase the entrapment of the wearer in this prison of branded clothing.
